PA SPEAKERS

This range is designed for use in sound reinforcement applications such as concert halls, pop concerts, outdoor festivals and state-of-the-art nightclubs. Highly specified for superior results, their engineering ensures great consistency and quality even at sustained high output levels. To ensure a cool and controlled performance all models are rear vented. The larger models also incorporate the patented Radial Technology.

The Pro PA range has been designed from the ground up to deliver superior sound quality. As well as a precision engineered and attractive cast aluminium chassis, the Pro PA features a magnet system that has been tailored to give a perfectly symmetrical field ensuring minimal distortion. In addition, most models in the range have twin rear suspensions, giving greater linearity of movement, greater control and greater power.

The Pro PA range is built to the most demanding engineering standards in quality controlled conditions to ensure maximum robustness and reliability. All components are selected to for resilience and high performance, without compromise. Mil Spec wire, space-age materials and advanced glues are used to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Even the terminals are designed for arduous duty. The result is a range that gives consistently cool, clear sound during a long working life.



  • CX220.1 (8")
  • Features:
    High power handling, excellent dispersion and low distortion make the CX220.1 suitable for fixed installation applications where quality and dynamic range are essential.
  • Benefits:
    The CX220.1 is a coaxial unit with integral crossover and a ferrofluid cooled dome tweeter. The bass-midrange system features a symmetrical field magnet, dual rear suspensions and a critically doped surround for low colouration and linearity. The tweeter has a 28mm voice coil and Neodymium magnet for efficiency and power handling. A foam disc behind the tweeter flange minimises diffraction problems and gives a wide, smooth off axis response. The entire tweeter assembly is field replaceable. Thiele-Small parameters are optimised for use in compact enclosures.


BM220.1 (8")

    The BM220.1 is a robust and well proven unit designed for bass-midrange use in small enclosures right down to minute sealed boxes.
  • Benefits:
    The BM220.1 features a symmetrical field magnet, dual rear suspensions and an extended voice coil for exceptional bass performance at high power levels. It is suitable for use singly or in multiples in compact high power systems where space is at a premium. Operation in a 5 litre sealed box offers an exceptional combination of bass punch, sound level and reliability.



B250.2 (10")
  • Features:
    Exceptional choice for bass systems where a fast, punchy sound is required, which needs to be backed with great depth. You can use the B250.2 singly or in multiples to provide this sound.
  • Benefits:
    The B250.2 features a symmetrical field magnet and long, 4-layer voice coil for large linear excursion capability coupled with good control. It also features double rear suspensions with characteristics matched to the motor assembly for stability and linearity at high drive levels. The Thiele-Small parameters are optimised for bass extension.

    The BM251.3 is a medium efficiency, high performance bass midrange unit designed for use in compact systems.
  • Benefits:
    The BM251.3 cone is fully doped and terminated in a linen surround. The magnet has a symmetrical field and a long voice coil is used for linearity and accurate bass reproduction at high power levels. Low midrange colouration and bass linearity are special features of this unit and it is ideally used with a small compression driver and horn for optimum results in compact high quality systems.

    Full range coaxial unit with integral crossover.
  • Benefits:
    The RVCXD3153 uses the Radial chassis with a rear mounted BMS 4548 compression driver. It features excellent vocal projection and clarity along with high power handling and sensitivity. A matching crossover integrates the two transducers to give a smooth controlled response both on and off axis. Since the conventional vented magnet cooling system is not possible in a coaxial unit the front mounted Radial chassis plus a multi-finned magnet intercooler provide unequalled cooling for maximum reliability and 3dB less power compression. A diffraction horn, flush mounted in the central hub, enables a smooth full-range response unlike the normal, central horn which interferes with cone radiation. Dispersion is 90°H X 60°V for more precise coverage compared to central conical horn types.

The RV4514 also has a 4" (100mm) 4 layer voice coil, double rear suspensions, double roll linen surround and a symmetrical field magnet for greater efficiency, linearity and lower moving mass than alternative conventional loudspeakers. The result is a loudspeaker with Thiele-Small parameters optimised for use with horn systems enabling high SPL and low bass extension. Maximum damage limited cone excursion is 50 mm (2").
